OVERVIEW
I worked with the Enterprise Template Solutions (ETS) team at Expedia to design branded travel and booking experiences for global partner organizations. ETS enables companies to leverage Expedia’s travel platform while delivering customized booking experiences tailored to their own customers and brand identity.
My role focused on designing user-centered interfaces that integrated Expedia’s travel infrastructure with partner-specific branding and experience requirements.
The Challenge
Expedia partners with a wide range of organizations across industries including airlines, hospitality, finance, and retail. Each partner requires a unique experience that reflects their brand while still operating within the structure of Expedia’s travel platform.
Designing these experiences required balancing three key priorities:
•  Maintaining consistent usability across Expedia’s booking ecosystem
•  Creating custom branded interfaces for each partner
•  Ensuring designs remained scalable within the platform’s template framework
My Approach
As a Senior Product Designer, I collaborated closely with product teams, engineers, and partner stakeholders to deliver custom UI solutions across multiple partner engagements.
My work focused on:
•  Designing branded booking flows and travel interfaces
•  Translating partner brand guidelines into scalable UI patterns
•  Working within Expedia’s template framework to maintain platform consistency
•  Iterating on designs in collaboration with engineering to ensure feasibility and performance
This approach allowed partners to deliver seamless travel booking experiences while leveraging Expedia’s underlying technology and infrastructure.

OUTCOME

By combining Expedia’s technology with customized partner branding, the team delivered scalable travel experiences across multiple industries.
Reflection
Working on the ETS team provided an opportunity to design within a complex enterprise platform while solving branding and usability challenges for a wide variety of partner organizations. Balancing platform consistency with partner customization required thoughtful design decisions and strong collaboration across product and engineering teams.
